Powered by AC current, the transformer of this winder runs a silent, geared-down motor that rotates at a rate of six revolutions per hour. Orbita’s patented ROTORWIND® action works by swinging your watch gently back-and-forth rather like the true motion of the human arm, instead of rotating it as most winders do. The Rotorwind system has proven to successfully wind every automatic mechanical watch tested on it.
